Critical Thinking and Media Literacy
"In this digital environment, we face a series of risks that can complicate our online experience. One of the most alarming is the presence of destructive criticism, which can undermine confidence and create a negative atmosphere. Scams are also common, where malicious individuals use the internet to deceive others, stealing personal information or money through trickery.
Moreover, misinformation is a constant challenge. In a world where anyone can publish whatever they wish, it is easy to stumble upon false or manipulated information that can influence our decisions and opinions. This phenomenon highlights the importance of media literacy; it is vital to know how to distinguish between reliable sources and those that are not.
On the other hand, computer viruses pose an ongoing threat, designed by individuals whose sole purpose is to cause harm. These attacks not only compromise our security but can also impact other users if they spread.
Given all this, it is crucial to cultivate critical thinking that allows us to navigate this vast sea of information with caution and discernment. Learning to question what we read, verify sources, and protect our personal information are essential skills in the digital age. Only then can we take advantage of the benefits that the internet offers without falling into its traps."
Crime And Punishment
"Upon reflecting on this issue, I concluded that in order to effectively reduce crime in our society, the government must focus on increasing and strengthening policies that support and protect citizens. While the existence of public authorities such as the police is fundamental for maintaining order, in a society where adequate support policies are not implemented, it is inevitable that crime will persist and spread.
Supporting citizens not only involves punitive measures but also the establishment of social, educational, and health programs that address the root causes of criminality. Crime prevention must be our priority, as providing opportunities and resources to individuals can significantly reduce the tendency to commit offenses.
Furthermore, I firmly oppose the death penalty. While there are crimes that deserve to be punished with very severe penalties, establishing capital punishment as a form of justice would lead us to a profound moral and ethical dilemma. By imposing death as a form of justice, we would be perpetuating a cycle of violence and revenge, in addition to undermining the fundamental principles of human dignity. It is crucial to remember that justice should seek rehabilitation and reintegration of individuals into society rather than merely disposing of them through extreme punishment.
In summary, to achieve a safer and fairer society, we must prioritize support for citizens and reject solutions that perpetuate violence. Only then can we build a future where crime is an exception rather than the norm."
EV95 Evidence Mind Map.
I have created a mind map that relates to my Personal Learning Environment (PLE) based on my strategies for learning a foreign language and their application in my immediate work environment. To develop this evidence, I followed a series of specific steps.
First, I accessed the third training component titled “Level 6 - MCER B1.1+,” where I reviewed the relevant grammatical elements for my learning and the creation of the mind map. Then, I reviewed the article by Kupchyk and Litvinchuk (2020) on constructing personal learning environments through ICT-mediated foreign language instruction, which provided me with valuable ideas and concepts to include in my map.
From the information gathered, I represented in the mind map the elements I use to manage my learning and how I apply them in my work environment. I followed the guidelines presented in the document “anexo_Guia_para_hacer_mapa_mental” to ensure that the map was clear and organized.
Evidence: EV66 Forum
I participated in the forum titled “Sharing life experiences,” where I shared my reflections on a work experience in which I demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in response to a change in processes. Based on the initial situation presented, I answered the questions in an argued and creative manner.
First, I described the specific experience where I had to adjust to new circumstances at work. In my response, I addressed the outcome of that experience, highlighting how my ability to adapt quickly contributed to solving the problem at hand. I also explained how my flexibility allowed me to face the situation with an open mindset, which facilitated collaboration with my colleagues and the adjustment of our work strategies.
Additionally, I reflected on whether I would change anything in my approach to handle the situation more effectively. This led me to consider different perspectives and identify opportunities for improvement in managing similar situations in the future.
I followed the development of the forum by responding to a critical and reflective comment from one of my peers, which further enriched the discussion and fostered an exchange of ideas on the importance of flexibility and adaptability in the workplace. This interaction not only allowed me to learn from others’ experiences but also to share my own lessons learned in a supportive and collaborative environment.

He creado un audio en inglés que aborda mi trayectoria, planes, acciones y soluciones en mis contextos académico y laboral, siguiendo la temática estudiada en el quinto nivel. Para la elaboración del audio, desarrollé un guion detallado en Word, que me sirvió como guía para estructurar mis ideas de manera clara y coherente.
En la primera parte del audio, realicé una breve presentación de mis datos básicos, incluyendo mi nombre completo, ID, ficha, instructor y el nombre de la actividad. Esto establece un contexto claro para los oyentes y les permite conocerme un poco mejor desde el principio.
En la segunda parte, me enfoqué en compartir mis opiniones sobre mi trayectoria hasta el momento y los planes que tengo para el futuro. Hablé sobre las acciones que he tomado y las soluciones que he implementado en mis experiencias laborales y académicas, haciendo énfasis en la flexibilidad y adaptabilidad que considero esenciales en estos contextos. Utilicé ejemplos concretos de situaciones en las que la toma de decisiones fue crucial, aplicando las estructuras del zero, first, y second conditional para ilustrar mis puntos sobre liderazgo y responsabilidad profesional.
Grabé el audio utilizando mi dispositivo móvil, lo que me permitió asegurarme de que la calidad del sonido fuera óptima. Una vez finalizado, subí el audio a una plataforma de pódcast como Spreaker o Podbean, registrándome de forma gratuita con mi cuenta de correo personal. Generé un enlace para el pódcast y verifiqué que no tuviera restricciones de reproducción, lo que me permite compartirlo fácilmente junto con el guion elaborado. Esta experiencia no solo me ha permitido reflexionar sobre mi desarrollo profesional y académico, sino también mejorar mis habilidades de comunicación en inglés.

I participated in the forum titled “Giving opinions about jobs,” where I shared my perspectives on sustainability in the workplace, using both my work experiences and a reasoned, creative approach to address the questions posed. In my intervention, I discussed how we can be environmentally friendly at work, the incentives that a green company could offer its employees, and other ways that businesses can involve their employees in environmental issues. Additionally, I followed the forum's development, responding to a critical and reflective comment from one of my peers, which enriched the discussion and promoted an exchange of ideas about environmental responsibility in the workplace.
